Lessons and Training       

At Ocean Crest Farm, our instructors believe that great riders come from a foundation of great horsemanship. All of our students are taught the care and handling of horses before moving on to riding. We offer instruction on our quality lesson horses or on your personal horse. Please note we offer hunter/jumper riding lessons only and do not offer pony rides or trail rides on our horses.

We are a competition focused lesson program dedicated to developing capable riders who aspire to compete at horse shows and lease or own their own horses in the future. Our wonderful school horses provide an excellent foundation for riders to learn how to walk, trot, canter, and jump small cross rails confidently and independently. 

 

When riders are ready to progress beyond the cross rail level, our program is designed to help transition them towards leasing or ownership of their own horse. This allows riders to continue developing their education and skills, pursue individual competition goals, and build a long term partnership with a horse. Reach out to us for more information!
